Be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded - 2 Chronicles 15.7

With one in five Americans lacking health insurance, there are many people suffering with unmet medical needs. In an effort to address this situation locally, Dr. Kim is working with Knoxville’s medical community to develop an expanded initiative to address the health needs of those who are unable to pay.

Thanks to our generous community we have been able to successfully:

  • Open 5 locations.
  • Create education initiatives to help patients stay healthy and manage their health.
  • Serve patients from any county.
  • Help patients manage their health by providing lab testing services.
  • Help patients who would not otherwise seek medical care.

Committed to Serve

Since our clinic’s inception in 1993, Dr. Kim and a small group of volunteer physicians have seen over 12,628 patients, all funded by volunteer help, personal donations, and grant assistance when the value of our service was recognized. There is an urgent need to expand the service through additional medical resources and personnel. After Dr. Kim organized a public forum at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, an article in the Knoxville News Sentinel and an appearance on WBIR-TV, a number of area physicians have offered to help.
